Almond and flaxseed crackers
Another quick and easy recipe.
Ingredients 1 1/2 cups of almond meal or ground activated almonds 1/2 teaspoon of pink salt 1/2 cup of flaxseeds 2 cloves crushed garlic 1 organic egg dash of olive oil Mix all ingredients together. This should be able to form into a dough. Place in-between two baking tray sized pieces of baking paper and roll out till approx 2 mm thick into a rectangle shape. Take top piece of baking paper away and cut into squares using either a knife of pizza cutter. Bake in a moderate oven for 10 minutes, turning over and removing baking paper, then bake till golden, approx another 5 minutes. Cool before serving. Once again this recipe is only limited by your imagination. I use what ever ingredients that I have on hand. Chia seeds, flax seeds, sesame seeds, mixed herbs, pepitas, etc. Perfect with cheese, dips, guacamole or on their own. |
