Krys' Gluten Free Bread

When my youngest boy, who had just given up gluten said that he missed having toast, it became a mission of mine to come up with an alternative without all the additives and preservatives as bought gluten free bread

Ingredients
  • 110gms ground white basmati rice
  • 110gms of ground brown rice
  • 80gms of ground millet
  • 120gms of arrowroot flour
  • 40gms of partially ground flaxseeds
  • 40gms of  psyillium husk
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered yeast
  • 4 teaspoons of rapadura sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of Himalayan salt with dulse flakes
  • 300gms of filtered water
  • 200gms of hot water
  • 30gms of olive oil

Method
Place dry ingredients into blender, mix wet ingredients together and add to dry.  Kneed together
Cover bowl and let rise for 40 minutes
Kneed again and place into stainless steel loaf tin
Place in oven 180 degrees for approx 40 minutes or until when top of bread is tapped it sounds hollow.
